Rainbow hair, bright-colored outfits–you couldn’t miss us roaming the streets and riding the bus to Razboieni.  Yes. We rode a bus looking like this! 😀

Ministry this month has been a variety of things!

For the homeless ministry, we prepare and hand out tea and coffee, play endless games of ping-pong, sing songs, pray, share in the Word, and then they feast!  This past week we also played games like Jenga, Uno, Rummy, and Chess with them.  They also got a large meal and ice cream for dessert.

For the children’s ministry, we primarily helped out the leaders with whatever they needed – usually preparing for games (like blowing up tons of balloons) or entertaining the kids (like clowning around).  We worked with kids on Friday nights and also Sunday afternoons (Awana!).  Because there are so many different gangs, we have to have different programs for different neighborhoods.

Wednesdays usually involve some sort of cleaning…whether at someone’s house or the church.  We visited Gabbi a few times. Check out this Blog to see the impact she had on me!

Saturdays we hang out with some girls from the different neighborhoods for a few hours.

Sunday mornings involve church (sharing a testimony or short word) and then Awana (mentioned above).

Tuesdays and Thursdays are our off days, which we usually spend at least one day at our hosts’ house.  🙂

It’s been fun!  It’s hard to believe we have left Romania and are on our way Portugal!!!
