Each month so far has been a journey in my life.  January can be defined as new beginnings.  I had my 28th birthday on the first day I went to launch.  Not every day you can say that you have a birthday and literally start a new life journey, leave everything behind, and dig deep into your spiritual life.  I learned to take time out each morning to spend with God and not to make it negotiable.  I learned that prayer is a huge weapon against Satan and his schemes.  Prayer walks are reviving and intercessory prayer is powerful.  In Colombia, my eyes were opened to things in my personal life and to those around me.

February can be defined as love deeply. My team went evangelizing on lots of campuses and tried to find people passionate about God.  We were trying to find student leaders who would continue to multiply the kingdom--to continue making disciples just like the great commission states (Matt 28:18-20)…..that’s some deep love...a desire to save souls.  In January, I didn’t make a lot of connections with those in the community or with our hosts, so I wanted this month to be different too.  In Ecuador, I made sure to make connections, keep the connections, and really share the love of God with everyone.  I did this and leaving was SO hard.  But, it also made me realize that if it was that hard to leave, then people made an impact on me and hopefully I made an impact on them---so it was worth it!

March was a chance to really lean on God.  Our team and our entire squad seemed to face a lot of spiritual warfare.  I would define this month as firm foundation.  That is, God is my firm foundation and cornerstone.  Thankfully I have built my life on that firm foundation so I didn’t come crashing down when the waves hit.  We ended up having all squad prayer and worship the last few days we were in Peru.  We had time slots and signed up—two people for each slot and prayed for 24 hours.  Then we had a scheduled time for a unified worship.  We all worshiped at the same time in our respective locations with our teams.  Friends, it was powerful and we all felt the spirit moving.  It was so refreshing and such a faith builder.  It was also awesome to see and hear about the faith people had in God for the lives of some of the people in my community …..spoiler alert—another blog coming soon on this!

If you read Lifestyle Changes...This Isn't a Joke then you know I’ve been on an amazing spiritual journey.  God has been working so much in my life and using me to impact so many others as well!  I truly serve an awesome God!!
