Hey Friends!

I apologize for not updating in a while.  But, I’m still in Rwanda.  I’m still healthy.  I’m still on mission… it’s just looks a little different:)

if you read my previous blog, our food distribution got halted.  After much prayer and negotiations, we are able to hand out food again!

Ladies have been coming this past week to pick up food, and we (HOPE) were finally able to take good out to the men in Gahanga.

Hopefully there are some full bellies!!  We have less than 10 bags to hand out, out of an original 100.

Where my housing is, is also the training school for tailoring.  HOPE is going to be teaming up with a company to help produce masks for Rwanda.  This company will hire some of the past students (giving them an income! Yay!) and they will sew masks. We will have to keep the social distancing rules in place, so not as many sewing machines will be able to be used as we have, but it’s a start.  Although I won’t be helping with the sewing, I hope that I can bring some light and encouragement during their time here working 🙂

In other news, ”mission” has been loving on the ladies in our compound, reaching out to others through video calls, emails, social media, etc, and praying.  Prayer has been a powerful tool.

Please also be praying for HOPE as we try to figure out how we can feed the street kids:)
